I only ever done Halloween costumes when I was a child and I stuck with the safe Disney Princess costumes. I never have actually paid too much attention to adult Halloween costumes, because I don’t ever see myself ever wearing them. Don’t take this the wrong way, but I think we should leave the Halloween costumes to the children. But it looks like that won’t be happening, and if they aren’t going to be leaving anytime soon then I want to make fun of some of the apparently worst Halloween costumes there is and seeing if they truly deserve their respective title.

The Bad

1. Trump

I saw on Twitter a mother dressing her child as Trump. Look it’s one thing to dress yourself up as Trump, but your young child? That’s where I draw the line. Stick to pumpkins for Halloween costumes for your child, not a racist, rapist, bigot.

2. Anything D*ck Related

Searching about the topic of Halloween costumes, I kept finding costumes that kept being an innuendo for a man’s penis. Some of those being a snake charmer, where the snake is coming out of the man’s d*ck and a skeleton with a boner. Can we just not with these costumes people? If you’re old enough to wear these costumes, you’re old enough to know better than to wear these costumes.

3. Fat Suits

Fat suits are so lazy and tacky, I don’t even know why people would want to wear them. I am not even mentioning that this could be offensive to plus size people, because these costumes are so dumb I would hope no one takes offense to them. If you can’t come up with something more creative than a fat suit for your Halloween costume, you probably shouldn’t even have a Halloween costume.

The Weird

4. Animal Costumes

Okay I don’t know if it’s just me, but I hate adults wearing animal costumes. I let a lot of costumes fly, but this one I can’t. Animal costumes seem too childish for my liking, it should be for children only in my opinion. I do cringe every time I see an adult wearing them as a costume.

5. Food

While searching Halloween costumes, I found quite a few food outfits including: peanut butter & jelly, bacon, banana, pickle, and fun dip and not one of them looked remotely good. They all look so silly which I guess is the point, but that doesn’t mean I have to like them.

6. Babies

If I thought grown people dressed as food was bad, wow was I in for a treat for grown adults dressed as babies. When grownups talk in baby voices make me cringe, you better believe seeing them dressed as actual babies would also make me cringe. It’s just very strange.

The Offensive

7. Holocaust Victim

I’m not joking when I say that I literally gasped when I saw this while researching Halloween costumes. This is a real costume! This beyond terrible, this is downright offensive. Whoever thought that this would make a great Halloween costume, is seriously f*cked up. This is terrible, horrible, offensive, 100% deserves the title of being one of the worst Halloween costumes ever.

8. Nazi

Now this I have seen more often compared to a Holocaust Victim, but that doesn’t make it any less worse. These costumes are in bad taste and people who decide to dress up in these costumes only reflect terribly on them. Just gross.

9. Dressing Up as Another Race/Religion/Culture Than Your Own

You all know what costumes I’m talking about. It seems like every year we have a controversy over a costume that someone has to decide to wear that’s different from their race/religion/culture. It’s gotten to the point where I can’t believe people still have to be told, don’t wear these costumes. Even if it’s not offensive to you, it probably is to someone else so don’t do it. Also don’t even think about blackface, nope don’t let that idea even cross your mind because it is possible to dress up as someone who is another race without blackface.

10. Bonus – Whatever This Is

This could have fit into all three of my categories above, so I’m just going to leave it here and let you decide which one it best fits into…
