Recommending Films Directed by Women

I never paid much attention to who directed the films that I watch. I didn’t think it really mattered at all. I watch whatever films I want to watch, as long as the director isn’t a known abuser it would be fair game for me to watch. So until very recently, I didn’t realize just how few women-directed films I have actually seen. That’s concerning, to say the least ever since I noticed this I have made a point to begin watching more films that have been directed by women. The more films by diverse directors a person watches, the more a person is open up to new experiences they wouldn’t have been otherwise. As I been watching women-directed films I might as well recommend some of my favorites in my journey thus far.
